2009 Winner
Jessica received the scholarship in 2009 at age 16. Having danced since the age of 4, Jessica has considerable experience in dance, and has continued to push herself to excel as much as she can. She has participated in numerous summer programs, including those with the Rock School at Pennsylvania Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and the Ballet Met. For Jessica, the scholarship helped to provide a way to relieve some of the financial stresses of paying for her classes, allowing her not to worry as much about being able to participate in the classes that help her to continue to master ballet and allow her to continue enjoying participating in something she loves.
